Qualifications for the next Under-20 CAN began this Thursday for the North Africa Zone (UNAF) with the first of five days on the program.
Opposing Egypt, the host country, in Ismaila, Morocco struck a major blow by defeating the Pharaons U20 with a score of 2-1. Saad El Haddad from Venice (39th), and the Montpellier striker, Othmane Maamma, on a serve from Fouad Zahouani (69th), scored the two goals in favor of the Lions of the Atlas.
