Authorities discovered the body of a woman on Wednesday in a small village on the French-Swiss border.

The results of the analyzes confirm that “this is indeed the mother of the three children” recently killed in Taninges, in Haute-Savoie.

The last doubts are lifted. “Swiss authorities have confirmed the identity of the deceased,” found Wednesday in his car, in the village of Champéry, on the French-Swiss border, the Bonneville prosecutor's office said this Thursday, November 14. “It is indeed the mother of the three children”whose lifeless bodies were discovered earlier in the week, he said in a press release. The person concerned was actively sought, being the main suspect in this case. For the moment, the authorities do not yet have “autopsy results”which would allow us to see more clearly the causes of the death of this teacher.

As a reminder, the remains of two boys aged 2 and 11 and a girl aged 13 were found on Tuesday in Taninges, a small mountain town. Autopsies confirmed that the children died from stab wounds. A blatant investigation had been opened for “voluntary homicides” while waiting for clarification. “the exact circumstances of the commission of the facts”had indicated the prosecution.

A medico-psychological emergency unit has been set up at the town hall of this municipality in the Giffre valley, approximately 50 km east of Geneva.
