New jackpot for Bruges? “He interests Tottenham”

With the sales of Igor Thiago and Antonio Nusa, Club Brugge raised many millions of euros last summer. And according to the English press, the people of Bruges could hit a new jackpot in the months to come.

At the start of 2022, Bruges spent 6 million euros to attract Andreas Skov Olsen from Bologna. At the time, some people wondered why the Blauw en Zwart would spend so much money on a player who hardly played in Serie A.

But quickly, the Danish winger demonstrated that he had great qualities and that he was able to be decisive. Since his arrival in Bruges, Skov Olsen has scored 46 goals and provided 26 assists in 115 matches. Simply impressive figures.

He could have already left last summer

Last summer, Skov Olsen could have already left Bruges but only Feyenoord really showed concrete action at the end of the transfer window. Not having enough time to find a replacement, Bruges finally decided to keep their 24-year-old winger.

A situation which could push Bruges to sell its player this winter or next summer. Indeed, Skov Olsen is under contract until June 2026. If he wants to recover a nice sum, the Club will have to sell its strong man in the coming months.

Tottenham are interested

And that’s good, Tottenham would be ready to welcome the Dane. According to information from Give Me Sport, the London club has been following Skov Olsen for some time. Tottenham have even sent their best recruiters to Belgium to come and observe Skov Olsen against Aston Villa in the Champions League.

According to Transfermarkt, the Danish international has an estimated value of €6 million. However, it would be surprising to see Club Brugge part with their player for such a sum. The people of Bruges should instead ask for between 15 and 20 million euros.
