Léa Salamé and Nicolas Demorand celebrated their wedding anniversary with fanfare. Indeed, this Thursday, November 14, 2024, Médiamétrie revealed the audience figures for the different radio stations listened to by the French within the national territory. France Inter, as leader, achieved record figures for the September-October period.
It was during the daily morning show that Raphaël Glucksmann's wife discovered the figures for the number of daily morning listeners. On the air, she thanked the 5 million French people who listen to her every morning. “Between you and us, it’s amazing love! Together, we’re breaking all audience records”she declared with joy live. A little later, the journalist indicated that France Inter was the “first radio in France”with 7,196,000 listeners every day.
A woolen wedding
For the occasion, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine received on her set the strong personalities of France's leading radio station, namely Charline Vanhoenacker, Sonia Devilliers, and the unbeatable duo, who have been working together for 7 years now at the helm of France's morning show Inter, Léa Salamé and her sidekick Nicolas Demorand.
To celebrate the duo's woolen wedding anniversary, a team of C to you infiltrated France Inter to question their collaborators, in order to find out their little secrets. If the economic journalist, Dominique Seux, admitted that it was “very happy to see them working together”for his part, Claude Askolovitch, who hosts The Press Review on the radio, provided details on the personalities of Léa Salamé and Nicolas Demorand: “Léa is exactly the character she is, but with doubts, sometimes, that she will not show. Nicolas is a ball of misanthropy, corrected by the love of people and culture and books”he confided.
“It probably has to do with sexuality”
The director of France Inter, Adèle Van Reeth, wanted to give her version of the facts: “Like all old couples, it probably has to do with sexuality. You have to ask them: either there is a lot of it, or none at all”she quipped. An announcement that made those concerned blush. Nicolas Demorand immediately set things straight: “We’re not sleeping together!”he exclaimed, provoking laughter from the guests present on the France 5 set.
“We have immense pleasure working together and I think that's simply called friendship. It's wonderful to experience every day. I'm happy to see Léa every morning, it's also that's why I do the morning show, because she's there every day and I can see her.”said the journalist. A speech that intimidated his work colleague. “Damn it’s beautiful, I didn’t expect that”she concluded, grateful.
