Rugby: Haouas returns to the Top 14 and is under pressure!

A year after his departure and especially after his conviction for domestic violence, Mohamed Haouas will return to Montpellier. A decision which has obviously caused a lot of ink to flow and in an interview published by Rugbyrama this Wednesday, Mohed Altrad explained that the 30-year-old right pillar will be monitored very closely.
The story of Mohamed Haouas is only too well known. Considered one of the best right pillars in France, he was especially talked about for his misbehavior, both on and off the field. He was in fact convicted for a case of gang theft which took place in 2014, but mainly for domestic violence and for a fight in a bakery, for which he decided to appeal.
Haouas returns to Montpellier

In an interview published this Wednesday, the Montpellier boss explained that this return of Mohamed Haouas will be done within a precise framework, since his behavior and his seriousness will be followed very closely by Bernard Laporte. “ Do I confirm the return of Haouas? Yes, but he better have a good offseason. He will be monitored on his weight, on his cardio… ” said Mohed Altrad. « Did I talk to him? No, but Bernard Laporte did it. He has been warned. He wants him to perform and I hope he understands after everything that happened to him ».
