Which is why, according to Sky Sports, the Blues are not being discouraged in their pursuit of the Sweden international despite his staggering £100 million price tag.

Newcastle faces a difficult situation as it must comply with Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) by July 1. This financial pressure could force the Magpies to consider selling one of their main assets. Despite their reluctance to part ways with Isak, the potential repercussions of non-compliance, including a possible withdrawal of points, have presented Newcastle with a difficult decision.
