José Mourinho met with Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri to reiterate his support after recent criticism linked to his disappointing performances with the team.
According to Turkish newspaper Foromaç, Mourinho praised En-Nesyri’s performance during the international break with the Moroccan selection.
“I followed your matches with the national team, you played well… Now it’s time to prove your worth here. The stage is yours, and I have no doubt that you will respond to the critics with your performances on the field.”he declared.
Mourinho expressed his full support for En-Nesyri and his confidence in his ability to live up to expectations with Fenerbahçe in the upcoming matches, despite the difficult period he is currently going through, marked by a lack of goals for two months.
En-Nesyri has made 11 appearances for Fenerbahçe this season in various competitions, totaling 433 minutes on the pitch and scoring just one goal, on August 17.
