Fatima Tagnaout has left Sevilla FC, announced the Spanish club which reached an agreement with the Moroccan club Royal Armed Forces (FAR), stipulating the return of the Moroccan international. This return comes after a relatively short period spent with the Andalusian team, lasting only three months.

According to a statement released by Sevilla, the decision for Tagnaout to leave was taken due to the player’s difficulty adapting to her new environment in Spain, which was seen as the main reason for her return.

Sevilla FC also wished the Moroccan player every success for the rest of her career with her former club, FAR, with whom she achieved numerous successes at national and continental level.

Tagnaout will have to wait until the next winter transfer period to obtain authorization to play again with the FAR in the next competitions.

As a reminder, the Lioness of the Atlas has managed to win several titles at club level since 2016, while with the Moroccan senior team she managed to win the UNAF tournament in 2020 and subsequently finished second in the Cup Aisha Buhari in 2021 and reached the 8th of the World Cup in 2022.
