HIGHLIGHTS

On now dry ground, the improvement compared to this morning exceeds one second per kilometer! The best time goes to Thierry Neuville who takes the opportunity to make a first small gap in the lead. Author of the 4th fastest time, Sébastien Ogier concedes more than three seconds and keeps his provisional second place for less than a second against the Tänak/Evans duo.

Behind this famous quartet, Takamoto Katsuta seems to have received the instructions to now manage his fifth position which is not threatened. By taking fewer risks, the Japanese still set a very interesting time.

For provisional sixth place, Sami Pajari now has a greater advantage over Adrien Fourmaux. The Frenchman increased the pace compared to the first pass, but the gap remains significant (6 tenths per kilometer).

In WRC2, Nikolay Gryazin continues his demonstration and is still more than a minute ahead of Yohan Rossel, provisional fifth. Between the two Citroën drivers, we find two ERC regulars: Filip Mares and Mikolaj Marczyk.

In WRC3, Frenchman Mattéo Chatillon continues to dominate against Czech Filip Kohn. Provisional 4th, Tristan Charpentier is currently on the podium against the German Gassner and the Pole Laskowski.

PILOT REACTIONS

T. Neuville
12:59.0
It was OK. But the road has changed a lot since the route openers passed. It was overall drier than expected.
O. Thank you
13:00.2
The grip is higher, that’s for sure. He is more consistent too. I don’t have a great feeling, but I try. You have to work on the balance of the car.
S. Ogier
13:02.6
We’re just not fast enough. We seem to be lacking a bit of rhythm. The car handles well.
E.Evans
12:59.6
It was much drier than earlier, more than expected in fact. Seeing that, I would have preferred to take hard tires for this one. But that’s how it is.
A.Fourmaux
13:15.1
Still no hybrid, the shock was too violent. I think it’s the same for everyone, it’s really a shame. Even if the time was not there, I had fun and I felt confident in the car.
T.Katsuta
13:03.8
It’s pretty good. I really didn’t attack at all. It’s a bit boring, but we have to keep it up.
S. Pajari
13:11.8
Pretty good. The grip is much better than this morning, but there are still some slippery spots. I wish I was closer to perfection, but it’s always like that. We’re having fun.
G.Munster
13:23.2
As it’s dry, we can push a little more even if the tires moved a little at the end. There are still some wet areas, but nothing to worry about. The feeling with the car is a little better. We changed little things like the anti-roll bars, clicks and a few adjustments.
O. Solberg
13:41.1
There was more grip than I thought. We were too careful in some places.
Y.Rossel
13:49.8
It’s a little better. At the end of the special, I’m smiling, it’s already a big progress. This morning I was just too cautious about the conditions and I was afraid of making a mistake. Now I want to have fun and regain performance.
N.Gryazin
13:38.3
The feeling is quite good. The tires overheated a little but I think it’s the same for everyone. We had to make a choice for the whole loop, and not just this special.
