Arnaud Nordin was sent off at the very end of the match, during Montpellier-Nantes, for a huge foul on Nicolas Cozza, hit in the head.
It was one of the last situations for Montpellier-Nantes (1-1). On a ball pushed back by the Montpellier defense, Arnaud Nordin wanted to clear even further. But in his very dangerous gesture, he hit Nicolas Cozza in the head and face with his foot. Immediately excluded, he left his teammates with nine since Lucas Mincarelli had already taken a red four minutes earlier.
Nicolas Cozza, hit in the head and cheekbone, had a large bandage placed on him to reach the end of added time. An impressive hematoma quickly formed at the level where he received Nordin’s kick, without it seeming to bother him more than that.

“We were scared,” reacted his teammate Florent Mollet, after the meeting at the Prime Video microphone. “I think it’s not intentional, we know the players, we know Nordin. It’s rather a poorly controlled gesture, it could happen. But it’s going pretty well for Nico so we’re reassured.”
After the final whistle, Nicolas Cozza, formerly of the MHSC until last season, took the time to chat and laugh with a few Montpellier players. When he met his trainer Antoine Koumbouaré, the Nantais man had already removed his bandage. More fear than harm, therefore.
