Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife were the hosts of the state dinner served at the Elysée on Monday evening in the company of several guests from the world of culture.

As he did for the visit of King Charles III, Emmanuel Macron invited the President of China Xi Jinping to a state dinner at the Elysée on Monday evening. Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan were guests of Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron. The two couples posed for the many photographers.

On the menu for the state dinner; crab meat and caviar as a starter, Bresse chicken supreme with baby spinach as a main course, galosh with thyme and small sprouts, and spring strawberries and crunchy meringue for dessert.
