“I tried to help my team as best I could. It wasn’t enough,” admitted Kylian Mbappé, who undoubtedly played his last Champions League match with PSG. “When we talk about efficiency in the areas, I think I’m the first to be targeted. I’m the guy who has to score the goals, who has to be decisive.”

Author of a double during the quarter-final return against FC Barcelona, Kylian Mbappé missed out in the two matches against Borussia Dortmund. “When it happens, I take all the light, when it doesn’t work, you have to take all the shadow too,” commented the man with 8 achievements in Europe this season. “So there’s no problem with that.”
In this semi-final return, PSG had 30 shots, with only five on target. In the first leg, the Parisians only had three shots on target out of 14 attempts. “The first one who should score this evening is me,” concluded Kylian Mbappé. “Now that’s life, you have to get over it, whether it’s me or the team.”
Already crowned champion of France, PSG still has three Ligue 1 matches on the program at the end of the season before a Coupe de France final against OL on May 25. Kylian Mbappé should play his last match of his Parisian adventure there, before undoubtedly joining Real Madrid.
