From the first notes, the audience at the Malmö Arena was captivated by Finland’s spectacular debut. The strobe lights and original staging created a crazy atmosphereperfectly in tune with the group’s aesthetic. Windows95manthe visual artist and DJ, is distinguished by its t-shirt and cap evoking the beginnings of the Internet, but especially by his almost non-existent underwear. On the title “No Rules!”it is accompanied byHenri Piispanena Finnish singer and actor who immediately knew how to impose his presence with style. The choreography, both precise and casual, added an extra touch of energy to the performance. The two members of the group and their dancers took the stage with remarkable ease.
During his performance, Windows95man proved that Finland is a key player in Eurovision, year after year. With “No Rules!”the group offered a surreal performance which defies expectations and which, without a doubt, will mark the history of the competition. It remains to be seen whether the public will vote in their favor and propel Finland to the final.
