Attention all those nostalgic for the Olympic and Paralympic Games! Starting September 13, it will be possible to replace the shrill alarm of your alarm clock with the sweet melody of the Olympic and Paralympic Games anthem, Parade. The director of ceremonies for Paris 2024, Thierry Reboul, announced to “Ouest France” that the 11-minute track composed by Victor Le Masne will be available on streaming platforms starting this Friday, September 13.

“We will officially launch it on Saturday during the athletes’ festival,” said Thierry Reboul, referring to the grand parade organized on the Champs Élysées for the 800 or so Olympic and Paralympic athletes, their coaches and all those who participated in the success of the Games (volunteers, civil security, law enforcement, etc.), scheduled for September 14.

For now, only Parade will be available on all streaming platforms. But the album will be “for the future”, assures Thierry Reboul.

A title that was unanimously acclaimed

“I very clearly composed this title for the opening ceremony with these images of the boats with the athletes entering the city in mind,” Victor Le Masne said in July.
