16th of Ligue 2, Caen missed his first half of the season in the wake of a takeover of the club which took up most of the summer. In freefall since the beginning of December, the club chose to part ways with coach Nicolas Seube, a club veteran, during the holidays. During the premiere of his successor, Bruno Baltazar against Clermont (0-1), the supporters did not fail to criticize the management's decision through banner voice.
