Real Madrid: €60 million, Kroos' successor has finally been found!

Real Madrid is positioning itself on Martín Zubimendi (25), Real Sociedad midfielder, to succeed Toni Kroos.

The Madrid club are looking to strengthen their engine room with a player capable of bringing a fresh approach while maintaining the balance that Kroos has embodied for over a decade. Although Real are interested, Zubimendi's situation is complex as the player is also attracting attention from Premier League clubs.

Under contract until 2027 with Real Sociedad, Zubimendi has a release clause of 60 million euros, an amount that Real Madrid could theoretically afford to pay from the summer of 2025. However, the midfielder Spaniard is being courted by several English giants, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, who are looking to get ahead of him in the race. Zubimendi is a vital part of Imanol Alguacil's team and continues to shine at San Sebastian, making him a highly sought-after player.
