A promising Ligue 1 defender in the sights

To strengthen itself, Real Madrid would be strongly interested in a promising defender playing in Ligue 1.

Among the best European clubs, Real Madrid is undoubtedly one of the teams with the most great players. With a workforce valued at nearly 1.3 billion euros on Transfermarkt, the Madrid club seems almost regaining its splendor from the Galactic era. Boasting stars like Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr, the Merengues have formidable artillery this season. Yet, Madrid are always looking to strengthen themselves.

For two seasons, Carlo Ancelotti often has to cope without his entire team. With the injuries to Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal, the defensive sector is particularly affected. Additionally, David Alaba, who has not played since last season due to a torn cruciate ligament, has lost his rhythm. A defensive reinforcement is a priority for the clubwho considered recruiting Leny Yoro last summer. At 18, the defender was still unknown but gradually established himself as a real asset for the Lens club. With 16 matches played during his first season in France, including 11 in Ligue 1, he has already reached this same number of matches in just half a season.

Abdukodir Khusanov has become a key part of the Sangs et Or defense. Having missed only 3 matches in all competitionsthe Uzbek is experiencing a real rise in popularity this season. In addition to Real Madrid, Newcastle and Manchester City are also on the docket. His departure seems increasingly likely, as statements from the club's general manager suggest.
