Mid-season, the management of players six months from the end of their contract becomes crucial. This situation can generate sporting and administrative uncertainty, affecting individual and collective performances. At ASSE, this phenomenon does not only concern the 10 players of the flagship team whose contract expires on July 1, but also other major elements of the squad of the training center teams.
These players, seeking clarity on their future, may be tempted by external offers from January, in accordance with the regulations. Strategic anticipation, combining extension discussions and reflection on the transfer window, is essential to maintain the balance of the team and prepare for the future.
The ASSE reserve
Like every season, the ASSE reserve is approaching its last six months with a squad in transition, marked by the imminent end of the contracts of 13 players, whose contracts expire next July. Although not all of them will leave the club, it is very likely that the majority of them will not be renewed. This situation creates uncertainty for these players, who know that their performances on the field over the coming months will play a determining role in the future of their career at ASSE. The club will also have to anticipate this period of change by making strategic decisions to prepare the future of the reserve team.

ASSE U18s in a pivotal year
The 2007 generation, which is nearing the end of its training, is living its final months at the Étrat training center. For some, the adventure with ASSE will end in June, marking the end of an important chapter in their development. Others, however, will take a new step by becoming independent, moving into an apartment, and continuing their journey within the club. Among this wave of young talents, several names will continue to defend the green colors and will have the opportunity to shine in the professional world. These coming months will therefore be decisive in validating their future within ASSE.

The club must notify players and their families of a possible end of collaboration before April 30, in accordance with the rules established by the FFF. This deadline is intended to provide unretained players with the time needed to find a new opportunity.
For those with whom a lawsuit is being considered, three options will be offered to them:
- and professional contract (lasting 1 to 3 years),
- and professional trainee contract (over 2 years),
- or a amateur contract.
If certain cases already seem sealed, the coming weeks will be decisive in refining the club's choices, clarifying its strategy and managing each situation with tact and professionalism.
