This is one of the big news of this end of the calendar year in Ligue 2 : l AC Ajaccio will officially change ownership on December 31, 2024! Indeed, a memorandum of agreement for the sale of the club for this date was signed by Alain Orsoniaccording to his words after the sad derby (0-0) between ACA and Sporting.

If he had left his place as president in 2023 to his son-in-law Daniele Bufano (left since August 2024), Alain Orsoni was still the majority shareholder of the Imperial City club through his holding company Ajaccio imperial Corse investmentwhich still owns the Ligue 2 team today. But in less than a month, the Orsoni era at the ACA – which lasted 30 years – will officially end if the agreement reached with a new buyer who cannot be cited at the moment is indeed confirmed.
“My story touches on finaffirms the manager to our colleagues at France Bleu RCFM. Normally, in three weeks, everything will be finished. I hope that the new arrivals will allow the club to maintain itself and develop even further. In any case, we only sell for that.” As a reminder, AC Ajaccio had to try twice before the DNCG in the summer of 2024 to validate a viable budget for the following season in Ligue 2, after having seen the financial policeman administratively demote it to National in a first time.
