The twelfth day of Ligue 1 has just ended with the meeting between Nice and Strasbourg. Thanks to their success against Montpellier, the Stéphanois made a good move in the standings and repositioned themselves within striking distance of the middle of the table.
Friday, at the opening of the twelfth day of the championship, Monaco won at the Louis II stadium against Brest (3-2) and PSG provided the essentials by winning against Toulouse (3-0).
On Saturday, Marseille brought back three points from its trip to Lens (1-3), while ASSE emerged victorious from its fear match against Montpellier (1-0). Finally, neighbors Lyon did no better than a draw in Reims (1-1).
This Sunday, Lille inflicted the third consecutive defeat in Ligue 1 on Rennes (1-0), future opponent of the Greens. Auxerre emerged victorious from their duel against Angers thanks to a goal at the last second of the match (1-0), Le Havre plunged Nantes into crisis (0-2). Finally, Nice won against Strasbourg at the end of the day (2-1). In the ranking the Greens are thirteenth and ahead of Angers, Nantes and Rennes.
