In view of its winter transfer window, OM intends to return to the charge for a track from last summer.
Last summer, the name of young Tidiam Gomis was mentioned by OM. His club, SM Caen, asked for 4 million euros to let go of its winger. A sum that the Olympian club was not willing to put up. The deal was therefore not completed, and the 18-year-old remained in Normandy, where he played 13 Ligue 2 matches this season (2 goals, 2 assists).
Contact is not broken between Caen and OM
However, OM has not abandoned this avenue, and still keeps Gomis in its shortlist, as reported Youngfooters. Valued at 3 million euros, the attacker could therefore leave this winter, or sign a contract which will become effective on July 1, 2025, the day after the end of his contract with the SMC.
Holder 8 times this season, Tidiam Gomis could therefore leave his partners in full exercise, while the club is fighting for its maintenance (14th in Ligue 2). A scenario that Kylian Mbappé, majority shareholder of the club via his investment fund Coalition Capital, probably did not imagine.
