John Textor, the boss of OL, has not given up on acquiring a Premier League club even if he recently failed to buy Everton.
In a difficult situation in France regarding his financial management of OL, John Weaver has not given up on buying another club in England. The American had not managed to acquire Everton last September. “We thought we were very close to Everton. We were 24 hours away from doing it, our documents were ready, we were ready to send the money, he told Brazilian media. Except that Everton was still in the process of bidding with another buyer. And, we lost the deal because we were too confident in the outcome.”
“Finding a better situation in the Premier League“
Anyway, John Weaver has not said his last word. He definitely intends to integrate another team into his Eagle galaxy. “It didn’t happen with Everton, but there are reasons for everything, I think. We will get back to a better situation in the Premier League.“In the meantime, Lyon supporters hope that John Weaver will be up to the task this Friday in the DNCG offices.
