Olivier Dall’Oglio’s great discovery!

Has ASSE found its typical team?

After having procrastinated for a long time and having to deal with an incomplete squad, Olivier Dall’Oglio can now deal with more players although the infirmary is still full (Briançon, Monconduit, Wadji, Maçon, Cornud…). Since the previous international break, the team has changed very little. Five players played all four matches played (360 minutes): Larsonneur, Batubinsika, Davitashvili, Appiah and Ekwah. In midfield, Dall’Oglio also gave pride of place to Aïmen Moueffek and Mathis Amougou who seem, with Pierre Ekwah, to form a rather solid midfielder who is starting to find automatisms.

Two major changes took place during this last phase of matches: on the one hand the benching of captain Yunis Abdelhamid after the disaster and the return of Mickaël Nadé alongside Dylan Batubinsika in central defense. On the other side, the return to grace of Ibrahim Sissoko, for a time replaced in the starting XI by Lucas Stassin (against and Nice).

On the wings, Ben Old and Zuriko Davitashvili seem to be winning, at the expense of Mathieu Cafaro. Their very solid and remarkable performance on Saturday against proves their coach right. Behind them on the field, Léo Pétrot and Dennis Appiah, who could have been considered as replacements at the start of the season, are back on the field due to injuries to Yvann Maçon and Pierre Cornud.

Two players have played all the minutes played by ASSE this season (540 minutes): Gautier Larsonneur and Dylan Batubinsika.
