Lisa Martinez, originally from Montpellier, began her training at PI Vendargues before joining Montpellier Hérault SC in 2011. A talented defender, she won two French U19 Champion titles, in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, after being crowned U19 European champion with the French team, she signed her first professional contract and was loaned to Glasgow Rangers for a season.
On her return to France, she joined Metz (D2), then Soyaux (D1). In 2022, Martinez returned to Scotland, where she shined with Rangers, winning the League Cup in her first season. More recently, she won the championship and the Scottish Women’s Cup, before deciding to return to play in France.
