Aïmen Moueffek : “It’s true that I didn’t do the summer preparation I wanted with an injury during the summer but I feel great. We took the time with the staff to work hard to get me back in shape. The sensations are good, I don’t know if I’m 100% (laughs) but my body is fine, I’ve found my strength again, it has to continue.
Against Lille, it’s a victory that does us good but we said it after the match in the locker room, it’s not an end in itself. We shouldn’t cry victory too soon. We’ve sorted out some issues, that’s good, now we know what to do to win a Ligue 1 match, we know the attitudes to have to continue in this direction and in the big matches that are coming up for us against Nice or Nantes. The satisfaction of a victory is fleeting because you have to quickly refocus. Now having won is important because it allows you to create things, the most difficult successes are foundational. In this sense the Lille match will do us good mentally and in terms of confidence. I think that compared to the match against Brest (editor’s note: 4-0 defeat), it’s the state of mind that was different. We showed that when the whole team was going in the same direction, we could go and get any match.”
