ASSE will travel to Nice this Friday for the 5th day of the Ligue 1 championship. A match that will be a test for Olivier Dall’Oglio’s men who finally started their season last week by beating Lille (1-0) at home.
In order to prepare for this opposition against the current 12th in L1, the Saint-Etienne group will train behind closed doors throughout the week. A choice that is always damaging for supporters wishing to come into contact with the players in order to convey their encouragement. That being said, the club nevertheless gives us news of the ASSE players via X! The players were surprised to discover photos of themselves… at ages or in looks that did not always show them to their advantage! We were able to see Ben Old, already a football champion in 2011 with Wellington Phoenix FC, or Zuriko Davitashvili, with his hair pulled back and already looking determined!
A sequence that proves that the group is doing well and that good humor is essential after this good result against Lille. However, it is the series of good results that should sustainably put a smile on Olivier Dall’Oglio’s men’s faces, at least that’s all we wish for them!
