Recent developments reveal that former Minister Abdoulaye Saydou Sow and the former Director of Estates were prevented from leaving the country via the AIBD. This action is part of a broader investigation conducted by the Research Section and Urban Security, according to information obtained by Libération.

The public prosecutor has issued several reports relating to various reports from control bodies such as the IGE, the Court of Auditors, the Ofnac and the Centif. These documents will soon be distributed between the SR and the DIC.

Precautionary measures have been put in place, including a ban on leaving the country for around thirty people, including former dignitaries, businessmen and senior officials. This list has been communicated to the Air and Border Police.

Illustrating these restrictions, Mamadou Guèye, the former director of Domaines, and Abdoulaye Saydou Sow were blocked at the airport as they were preparing to travel, the latter being accompanied by the national football team.

These events highlight the scale of the ongoing investigation, orchestrated by the judicial and security authorities.
