Apple is all set to unveil its iPhone 16 lineup later today at its special event named “It’s Glowtime.” The new series will feature four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. According to reports, new iPhones will go pre-booking starting September 13 and on sale starting September 20. In India too, Apple iPhone 16 series is likely to go for pre-booking and sale on these very dates.
As for India pricing, it is very likely that Apple may retain the same launch pricing for iPhone 16 series as that of iPhone 15 series at the time of launch.

Price cuts for iPhone 15, iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 series
The latest iPhone 15 series also underwent price adjustments after Union Budget. The iPhone 15, initially set at Rs 79,900, is now offered at Rs 79,600. The iPhone 15 Plus, initially priced at Rs 89,900, is now available for Rs 89,600. The iPhone 15 Pro price dropped from Rs 1,34,900 to Rs 1,29,800, offering a Rs 5,100 savings. The iPhone 15 Pro Max saw a reduction from Rs 1,59,900 to Rs 1,54,000, a total decrease of Rs 5,900. These price cuts do not include additional discounts from bank offers and e-commerce platforms.
And like last few years, Apple is likely to announce price cuts for iPhone 15 series just hours after the launch of iPhone 16 series. Even before the official price cut, previous-generation iPhones are available at discount on Amazon, Flipkart and other online as well as offline stores. Discounts have been noted recently on models including the iPhone 14, iPhone 13, and iPhone 15. For example, the iPhone 15 is priced at Rs 69,999 onwards on Flipkart, you may get it cheaper by a few more thousands after bank offers. iPhone 15 Plus is available at Rs 57,999.
