“As summer draws to a close, I can’t tell you what a relief it is to finally have completed my chemotherapy treatment.” Princess Kate Middleton posted a heartwarming video on Monday, September 9, announcing the end of her cancer treatment.
“The last nine months have been incredibly challenging for us as a family. Life as we know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and the unknown road,” the princess wrote. “The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially your loved ones.”
Kate Middleton continued: “With humility, it also confronts you with your own vulnerabilities in a way you never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has especially reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple but important things in life that many of us often take for granted. Simply to love and be loved.”
