DEATH OF MR. ANDRÉ GOURLAY
It is with immense sadness that the Oise Football District informs you of the death of Mr. André Gourlay, who occurred at the age of 88 in Nogent-sur-Oise.
André Gourlay was a key figure in football in our department. His name remains associated with the prosperous years of many clubs, notably Senlis, where he made history as a coach. His commitment, his passion and his talent have left an indelible mark, culminating in a memorable run in the Coupe de France.
In addition to his coaching career, André Gourlay has also contributed to major football events. During the 1998 World Cup, he was appointed delegate for the Senlis site, welcoming the Italian selection with great professionalism, a role which illustrates his investment and dedication to football.
The Oise Football District sends its most sincere condolences to his family, his loved ones, as well as to all the people who shared his journey.
