Three injured, including one dead
This shooting took place on the night of October 31 to November 1, in front of a nightclub in Saint-Péray, in the suburbs of Valence (Drôme). A man dressed in a balaclava and black clothing allegedly fired a handgun at customers located in front of the establishment. Nicolas, aged 22, injured in the head, was transported in absolute emergency to the Valence hospital center, with a life-threatening condition, before dying from his injuries on Saturday. A customer and a security guard at the establishment, also in the queue, were slightly injured in the legs.
Nicolas was a Rugby player and played in the same club as young Thomas, killed during a village festival at the end of 2023 in Crépol. The RC Romanais Péageois club paid tribute to the victim in a post on Instagram, explaining that they were “hit in the heart again since Thursday evening.”
A white march in tribute to the young man will take place on Wednesday afternoon, we learned from the rugby club on Monday.
