Agustin Creevy has just signed for Benetton Treviso, to play in the United Rugby Championship. The Argentine hooker will therefore discover a new championship and extend his career beyond the age of 40.
Agustin Creevy will extend his career beyond the age of 40! The Argentinian international further pushes the limits of physics, with this signing announced this Wednesday at Benetton Treviso. The hooker (1.80 m, 108 kg) will discover a new championship, the United Rugby Championship, after having already played in Top 14, Super Rugby, Vodacom Cup and Premiership.
The former Biarritz, Clermont and Montpellier player is preparing to join the Italian franchise on October 21, after participating in the Rugby Championship this summer. He was a substitute in New Zealand (where he contributed to the Pumas’ victory with a try) and against Australia.
Agustin Creevy therefore joins Benetton Treviso for one season. A team which has so far conceded a draw against the Scarlets (20-20) and lost in Glasgow last week (42-10).
