It was shortly before 2 p.m. that the gunshots were heard on the Kennedy slab in the Villejean district. Several individuals were present at the time of the incident. According to information from Ouest-France, a group of people were chasing another. The shots that followed were therefore likely due to an automatic weapon. The police quickly intervened on site where a security perimeter was established.
During the afternoon, forensic investigators took various samples and readings. “We didn’t see anything because we were working at the time. It was the police who told us what had happened nearby. When we went out we saw several small numbered plots that were on the ground,” explains an employee of a tile business.
Impacts on a building
As we were able to confirm, the police found a total of 11 9 mm shell casings. At least two projectiles also hit the facade of a neighboring building. In particular, we were able to note an impact surmounted by a label numbered 2 near a window. A bullet, according to confirmation from one of our sources, also pierced the window of a home before ending up in a sofa without causing any injuries. “It is a miracle that no innocent person was killed in this settling of scores linked to drug trafficking which is blighting our country! » reacted the Alliance police union on its X account.
