“Since the covid affair, I no longer have confidence in vaccination. For me, no vaccine for chikungunya.”
“I don’t know if there will be any side effects or not, so I prefer not.”
Authorized on the European market since June 28, 2024, this single-injection vaccine promises 98.9% immunity for 28 days and up to 6 months after vaccination.
Reunion MP Perceval Gaillard is demanding reimbursement from social security for this vaccine from the National Assembly: “As long as the vaccine is available, marketed and authorized, it must be able to be reimbursed for the people of Reunion Island.”
