President Diomaye Faye appoints new members

By decree no. 2024-3401 of December 11, 2024, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, proceeded to the appointment of new members of the National Audiovisual Regulatory Council (CNRA). The latter were appointed for a term of six (06) years, non-renewable and non-revocable, starting December 11, 2024.
Here are the new nominations:

Mahamadou Diarra, cultural actor, replaces Pape Faye as a qualified personality in the arts.
Papa Mamadou Tandian, retired civil servant and holder of a Master’s degree in economics, succeeds Ibrahima Sané in the title of associations of people of the Third Age.
Salif Sané, teacher-researcher with a State doctorate in public law, takes Djiby Diakhaté’s place for the university community.
Maimouna Makoar Diouf, sociologist specializing in Gender and Communication advocacy, replaces Ndèye Marie Diédhiou in the role of women’s associations.
Aoua Bocar Ly-Tall, sociologist with a doctorate in sociology, occupies a vacant position for qualified personalities in the literary world.
Malick Ciré Sy, journalist and president of the Board of Directors of RADDHO, succeeds Mame Balla Gueye in the name of human rights movements.
Papa Madiakhaté Sarr, journalist and head of Communications for the Pikine Departmental Youth Council, replaces Khadim Diop as the National Youth Council.
Oumar Diouf Fall, journalist with a Higher Diploma in Journalism, replaces Lucky Patrick Mendy as audiovisual communication professionals
As a reminder, Mamadou Oumar Ndiaye was appointed president of the CNRA in November 2024.
