The Regional Academy of Education and Training of Fez-Meknes is undergoing a review of the educational approach, strategic changes and a change in the representation adopted.
This is the credo of Mohamed Saad Berrada, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, who launched the Marshall Plan in this perspective which relaxes constraints and readjusts the educational process within schools. A plan envisaged following the analysis of education previously carried out at the Aref of Fez – Meknes and which showed a downgrading of the success rate having not exceeded 75% last year due in full evidence of overcrowding, a factor favoring academic failure and which was the highest nationally. Three interventions will make up this recovery plan. They will translate into immediate actions and others to come. Among these are the eradication of the third formula, an action which is intended to be a priority and immediate to allow all students to benefit from school time, the adoption of an instant educational plan for support and academic catch-up in order to guarantee student progress and improve their results, and the creation of 17 new establishments, first for the 2025-2026 school year, then 22 establishments for the start of the school year 2026-2027.
The other action is the extension of existing establishments with the addition of 235 new rooms. On the same note, Mr. Mohammed Saad Berrada insisted on the Pioneer School by giving his instructions so that the pioneer schools and colleges are an essential lever in order to promote learning on three axes, namely the student, the teacher and the school establishment.
The Pioneer School is part of the 2022-2026 roadmap for a quality public school adopting a structural program aimed at improving the educational process taking into account the principles of equity and equal opportunities in the different operations and measures taken to obtain the Label. As a result, the Marshall plan established by the Minister will be an aid and a push forward, a perfect realization of educational expectations within Aref Fez-Meknes.
According to our resources, the plan has already started, the teams are on the ground to ensure adequate and efficient implementation based on a monitoring and reporting system which will do honor to the Regional Academy of Fez-Meknes.
