In Avignon, XXL entertainment during the Christmas holidays in the city center
Guaranteed atmosphere. Christmas in Avignon continues again this weekend to the delight of young and old alike. Among the activities taking place on Sunday, December 29, we find the Christmas market at the Célestins church from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Local artisans and creators are present on site.
Then head to Santa Claus’ chalet which is located on the Place de l’Horloge from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The world of elves and its little train at Place Saint-Didier takes travelers into the city center today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. departing from Place de l’Horloge. You can also enjoy the giant tree and the mini-wheel, creative workshops at the Célestins church and on the Place des Corps-Saints, the carousel, Place des Corps-Saints and the artificial ice rink, Place de l’ Church in Montfavet.
All the activities offered in town are free.

In the town center of Manosque, it is the last day to enjoy the activities around the Christmas market. The latter ends like most Christmas markets in the region this evening. Let yourself be carried away by the magic of the illuminations on offer and the decorations put in place.
Also find the artisans and creators present on Place du Terreau. For children, the carousel called the magic tree is installed on Place du Terreau. In Aubagne, a final stroll through the figurine and ceramic market at the foot of Garlaban
A walk this Sunday to make the magic of the holidays last after Christmas Eve? Perhaps the last opportunity to discover these small clay figurines which are the pride of the town of Aubagne, one of the historic bastions of the santons, at the foot of Garlaban. You have to get lost in the market located in the city center which houses this group of characters illustrating the trades of a southern village.
We can evoke the child Jesus surrounded by Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men and the stable animals which are on the stands represented. In the wooden chalets, there is a beautiful selection of figurines, nativity scenes, but also beautiful ceramics made by local artisans happy to present their know-how (plates, cups, pots, bowls, salad bowls), jewelry . Without forgetting the nativity scene presented to visitors like every year.
This year, two new santon makers joined the adventure of this market which attracts thousands of visitors each year: the Carbonnel workshop and the Cécé crèches.

In Arles, storytelling tour and gourmet workshop for children at the Luma Tower
The Luma Tower, a jewel of contemporary art in Arles, opens its doors during the holidays. It houses contemporary works of art but also offers fun activities for the whole family. We discover a narrated tour entitled Pileup in the Stars. Children are taken on an imaginary journey inspired by the works of the artistic program. Another highlight, the gourmet workshop called the ballet of utensils. Everyone has fun transforming everyday objects into characters in a festive ballet. A gourmet snack is offered.
