“The firefighters took a long time before coming to put the car out,” comments a surprised resident. He saw two ambulances heading towards Avenue Gabriel-Péri. “Not far from the car fire, tear gas was fired,” said this witness.
A police van arrived on site. Before a fire starts on rue Maurice-Thorez. A place usually targeted by arsonists. “Usually, the firefighters no longer intervene here, because it is an ambush,” said the resident. The clashes lasted all night
The local residents mentioned mortar fire in the direction of the CRS, successively rue du Chemin Blanc, rue 19-Mars, rue du Colonel Fabien. “The young people were positioned on rue Jacques-Decour, hidden behind trees,” describes the witness.
