Charles and Anne, the two hardest workers of the year
If the brother and sister rarely meet face to face since the coronation of Charles, the latter and Anne have nevertheless been very close since childhood and this closeness was reinforced again in 2024 following the king's health problems . The husband of Queen Camilla is in fact suffering from cancer revealed in February and for which he is still being treated, recently ironic about the fact that he was “not dead yet”.
The king still had to ask several members of the royal family to deputize for him throughout the year and Princess Anne was one of the people to have accomplished the mission brilliantly. The wife of Timothy Lawrence is in fact at the top of the ranking of royal personalities to have honored the most engagements in 2024 with 217 events. Charles III, however, did not allow himself to be overcome by illness since the king placed himself in second place with 186 missions accomplished during the year. A duo that works well, both on a personal and professional level.
