Selon Alyaoum24the eldest son, considered the main perpetrator of the homicide, was sentenced to life imprisonment. His mother, a direct accomplice, was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Two of the other children were each sentenced to 20 years in prison, while two additional family members received lighter sentences, ranging from three to six years.
The public prosecutor had requested exemplary sentences, emphasizing the premeditated nature and brutality of the murder. The charges included torture, failure to assist a person in danger, concealment of evidence, obstruction of justice, drug trafficking, and premeditated homicide.
The investigation revealed that the murder had been committed in the family home in the Civil Servants district of Tangier. The eldest son, helped by his mother, killed the father before transporting the body to an apartment located in the Tangier Al-Balia district. To conceal their act, they buried the body in a wall and covered it with cement.
Despite their efforts to divert suspicion, by asserting that the victim had left the country or had withdrawn to an isolated region, the inconsistencies in the testimonies, in particular those of the sons who were minors at the time of the facts, allowed the investigators to break the truth.
The affair broke out when a police investigation, carried out on June 1 in the context of accusations of drug trafficking targeting several members of the family, led to the discovery of the body of the victim buried in the wall of an apartment .
