The Italian Embassy in Rabat has just held the ninth edition of the “Italian Cuisine Week in the World”, an annual event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the network of Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes around the world.
Under the theme “Mediterranean Diet and Roots Cuisine: Health and Tradition”, the Week took place this year in Morocco from November 16 to 22, 2024.
Several operations have emphasized the social value of Italian cuisine as an element of aggregation and community.
And to end the week in style, the collaboration between the Consulate General of Italy, the Italian Foreign Trade Agency ITA-ICE, and the Dante Alighieri Committee of Casablanca, then gave rise to a masterclass (Tuesday November 26) hosted by African pastry champion Enniri Abdelilah, focused on the preparation of ice creams and pastries. The event included a technical phase dedicated to 30 professionals from the sector, followed by a designer dessert show with final tasting and musical accompaniment by the Aires Trio group to the notes of “Jazz and Soul Italian Best Songs”. A look back in pictures of this colorful evening. Video.
