This morning

Be careful if you are in the Grand Est as far as the Jura where strong storms break out until 10 a.m. They can be accompanied by significant accumulations of water in a short time. Near the Mediterranean, the mistral and tramontane rise, allowing clearings to widen quickly. Everywhere else, a very changeable sky accompanies you with a few scattered showers.

Temperatures range from 12 to 15°C in the west at daybreak to 20°C east of the Rhône and the Saône to the Mediterranean.

This afternoon

In the east, the weather remains unstable with occasional stormy showers. From Normandy to Hauts-de-France, showers circulate quite quickly. Near the Mediterranean, sun and wind are present. In all other regions, you keep the very changeable sky of the morning with large clouds bringing showers and clearings.

Temperatures are homogeneous, around 22°C up to 28°C between the Côte d’Azur and Corsica, but barely 18°C along the Channel. In the east, the drop is spectacular: between Strasbourg, Besançon, Dijon, Lyon and Grenoble, you lose more than 10°C in 24 hours!

Soirée

Instability tends to weaken in the west. Some showers persist in the east. Near the Mediterranean, mistral and tramontane winds are blowing at 60 km/h in gusts.

Further trend

On Monday, the wind is blowing northwest, temperatures are barely seasonal. As for the sky, even if the clouds are still numerous and threatening, the risk of showers is diminishing. In the northwest, the weather is generally dry. Near the Mediterranean, the wind is strengthening to 80 km/h in gusts. Caution in Corsica and in the Alpes-Maritimes up to the eastern Var due to heavy thunderstorms.
