HIGHLIGHTS

For this third and final pass in this super-special, the gaps are obviously still very slim and everything is decided by a few tenths.

Already the author of two stage wins in three stages this morning, Kalle Rovanperä once again set the best time and took three tenths from Elfyn Evans, and five from Andreas Mikkelsen. Overall, these three men are grouped into just 2s7.

Behind them, Adrien Fourmaux still wants to believe in the podium even if the gap now stands at thirteen seconds.

Provisionally 6th, Thierry Neuville will try to get the better of Martins Sesks before the end of the day.

In WRC2, Sami Pajari is managing his advantage perfectly for the moment while four Skoda Fabia RS are battling for second place, including Oliver Solberg and Pierre-Louis Loubet.

A good morning, not perfect, but good stages. We have gained a position, there is one more to take. We will make some setup changes and see if we can gain some rhythm.

I have to say that when you’re driving you’re pretty focused, but when you pass the finish line you see how many people there are, and it’s so nice to see so many people. I think we have nothing to be ashamed of losing a position to Thierry, he is quite fast. We have to keep Taka behind us, he has a lot of experience on fast dirt events, so if we can keep him behind us it will be good.

As always, it’s very nice to see so many spectators in this special. The morning was a good loop for us. In the second special, I had a little more trouble, but I’m very happy overall. I always have an eye on the podium, it’s always possible for us.
M.Sesks

We are riding at our own pace – so far so good. I am trying not to think about Neuvile, because we are not scoring any points, so it is not a problem. For us, we just have to ride.

It’s really tight right now, it was such a tough morning. I needed to win this stage because my mentor in Finland told me I have to win this one and he will give me a picture of my drift car livery.
E.Evans

Yes, everything is tight. I think the left lane has always been a little worse, especially at the start, but otherwise it’s good. It’s quite tight, a big afternoon ahead.”
