Steve Guerdat will participate in his sixth Olympic Games. The Jura rider was selected this Thursday by Swiss Olympic. He will wear the colors of Switzerland this summer in Paris. The rider from Bassecourt is now the second Jura resident in the Swiss delegation after the selection of Audrey Gogniat last Thursday in air rifle shooting. Steve Guerdat and his mount, Dynamix de Belheme, will compete in the show jumping event. The 2012 Olympic champion will try to collect a second gold medal during these games which will take place in the French capital from July 26 to August 11. The individual show jumping event will be held on August 5 for the qualifications and August 6 for the final in the gardens of the Château de Versailles. According to the Swiss Olympic press release, Switzerland will be able to count on “a solid Olympic and international experience”.
