The success rate for the 2024 baccalaureate at the end of the ordinary session reached 62.37% for candidates educated in the Casablanca-Settat region, an increase of 9 points compared to the previous year.

The Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of the Casablanca-Settat region indicated in a press release that the number of educated candidates, in public and private education, having passed the tests of the ordinary session of the baccalaureate 2024 in the region amounted to 84,614 candidates, of whom 51,025 passed the exam.

According to AREF, the total number of school girls who passed their baccalaureate is 29,913, a success rate of 67.76%. The number of graduates who obtained a distinction among school students amounts to 27,885 (55.20% of the total success rates).

The best national mark in the baccalaureate exams was obtained by two female students with an average of 19.62, in the provincial directorates of Moulay Rachid and Bernoussi.

Regarding the distribution of results by sector, the press release specified that at the level of the international baccalaureate sectors, the number of successes amounts to 25,112 among 33,580 candidates having passed the exam at 74.78%, while 170 candidates out of 404 passed the professional sector tests.

Furthermore, the number of baccalaureate winners among students enrolled in scientific and technical sectors of public and private education amounts to 43,337, representing a success rate of 60.57%. As for the literary and original education sectors, the number of winners reached 7,006, representing a success rate of 71.4%.

The statement added that the number of candidates with disabilities who passed was 149 out of 233 candidates present at the exam, stressing that they benefited from the adaptation of the exams and the correction conditions.

Regarding inmates in penitentiary establishments, 74 candidates out of a total of 212 obtained their baccalaureate, while the number of winners among free candidates is 3,219 out of 11,023 who took the exam.

AREF Casablanca-Settat indicated that the total number of candidates authorized to take the remedial session is 34,140, ​​specifying that this session will take place on July 10, 11, 12 and 13 for all sectors, while the results will be announced no later than the 19th of the same month. The regional exam will be held on July 3 and 4.
