It rains over a good northern half of the country. The weather is unstable with showers from central Aquitaine to Alsace. The sky is cloudy elsewhere, very cloudy in Languedoc-Roussillon with a few showers over the Cévennes relief. Over a southern third of the territory, from the Pyrenees to the Alps, the sun clearly dominates.

Temperatures range from 13 to 15°C at daybreak, up to 18°C ​​near the Mediterranean.

Afternoon

The situation is evolving. The rains are replaced by showers which take on a stormy character in the north of the country. A few occasionally strong thunderstorms break out in the Massif Central, Burgundy and the Vosges from 4 p.m. with a risk of hail. Showers affect the Cévennes. The sun shines between the southwest, the Jura, the Alps and Provence Côte d’Azur. The sea wind and the autan are sensitive, blowing around 70 km/h in gusts.

Temperatures vary, from 16 to 18°C ​​near the English Channel, around 21 to 24°C in the rest of the north of the country. South of a Bordeaux / Lyon line, it is hot with 28 to 30°C, locally 33°C in the south of Aquitaine while the maximums will not exceed 22°C in Aude and Hérault in due to low clouds carried by the sea wind.
