The complaint for moral and sexual harassment which targeted Noël Le Graët was dismissed. In an interview with Le Monde and L'Équipe, the dismissed leader of the FFF settles scores with Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, who had made public a “damning report” against him.
“I lived a nightmare, but the fact of being exonerated in this case makes me feel good, even if I have a feeling of anger and relief”declares Noël Le Graët in an interview with Le Monde and L’Équipe published on Sunday November 3. After the dismissal of the complaint for moral and sexual harassment against him on October 17, Noël Le Graët decided to speak about the case and the last eighteen months. And the least we can say is that he did not spare Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, at the time Minister of Sports and who had made public a “damning report” against him.
Noël Le Graët denounces “an incriminating investigation”
According to the former president of the FFF, the accusations made against him are the result of “desire to harm” and of “decapitate the boss” supported by Amélie Oudéa-Castéra: “I didn’t like him very much and it showed very clearly.” In January 2024, an investigation by Le Monde shed light on a secret meeting between the former Minister of Sports and the general director of the FFF Florence Hardouin, the evening of the accusations launched in several media. “She will kill me”analyzes Noël Le Graët, who suspects the two women of having wanted him to be ousted.
The report made public by the minister points the finger at “sexual harassment” exercised by Noël Le Graët by SMS within the FFF. But according to the latter, “his administration carried out an incriminating investigation, with the hearing of around forty people”. The 82-year-old man then did not hesitate to ironically attack the politician on her mandate: “What has she done for sport? I will rather judge her on her time in national education [qui a duré 28 jours, NDLR]she made me feel a little sorry. I am human.”
“I supposedly sent sexual messages to the whole world. They didn't find any”he continued. For the dismissed leader, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra “could make reproaches” more “from there to setting up a cabal of this kind. You really have to want to free someone”.
