The Ministry of Justice announced the creation of provincial directorates within the judicial districts of each Court of Appeal, aiming to strengthen decentralization and modernize judicial administration. These new structures will ensure greater proximity of services to citizens and improve the quality of judicial services by providing the departments with administrative and financial autonomy.
These directorates will have the main missions of managing the administrative and financial affairs of the courts, developing budgetary plans adapted to local needs and establishing a performance system consistent with modern standards. They will also play a central role in the digital transition of the courts by developing the technological infrastructure and optimizing records management.
This initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to strengthening decentralization, promoting equitable justice and improving territorial governance. It marks a key step towards achieving the objectives of modernizing the judicial system and sustainable development of the sector.
