INTERVIEW – Benyamin Netanyahu announced this Tuesday a ceasefire in Lebanon. Researcher David Khalfa deciphers the military and diplomatic issues that can explain this agreement.
“This evening, I will present to the cabinet for approval a draft ceasefire in Lebanon. The duration of the ceasefire depends on what happens in Lebanon», announced this Tuesday, November 26, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on television. This agreement comes after almost two months of ground fighting in southern Lebanon where the IDF faces Hezbollah, also very weakened by airstrikes which decapitated a large part of its command.
