Guest of After Foot on RMC Sport, rapper Kaaris, fan of PSG, believes that the meteoric rise of Kylian Mbappé partly explains the disenchantment of a part of the French public, long before seeing his name cited in a case of rape by the Swedish press.

The 44-year-old rapper took the opportunity to chat with Daniel Riolo, whom he quotes in one of his songs, but also to react to football news. PSG supporter Zlatan Ibrahimovic version more than Lionel Messi version, he also spoke about Kylian Mbappé, currently cited in a rape case by Swedish newspapers. “I think it’s because we pushed him to the top of the pyramid too early,” explains Kaaris. “Too soon, too quickly I think. Even though he was very, very good at the World Cup (2022) and everything you want, but at one point his head is going to explode, in my opinion.”
Does the 2018 world champion suffer from an image sometimes considered arrogant? “That’s it, that thing drives you crazy. You imagine his level, it’s a level… it’s too much, we gave him too much. If I can’t go and sit in a restaurant, with family, so imagine for him you have no life.”
Comments independent of the case in which the Real Madrid striker is currently cited. Several Swedish media assure this week that he is the target of a rape complaint for alleged events which took place in a hotel in Stockholm, where he was staying last Thursday with friends. His lawyer claims to have still not received the information that he was indeed the person targeted by the complaint. According to information from RMC Sport, those around him have nevertheless become certain that this was indeed the case.
